Feng Chia University (FCU) is committed to engaging in Taiwanese sustainable industries. One of our University’s Social Responsibility (USR) Projects subsidized by Ministry of Education (MOE) aims to promote PGS-based natural agriculture in TAIWAN, which is mainly implemented by Department of Cooperatives Economics and Social Entrepreneurship. We are very glad to join the global movement in the frame of IFOAM-PGS. Through systematic social design, ecological technology, stakeholders’ responsible consumption, and global connected learning, the Taiwanese CGNF Natural Agriculture Association and we are initiating a PGS agricultural Coop in TAIWAN this year. This initiative will help aboriginal farmers and their tribes to balance their livelihoods, production, and ecology (triple-bottom line).

Sustainability center in Nanhua University (SC.nhu)set up in 2016 to develop environmental Sustainability. After several development, Sc.nhu created green house and farm to raise black soldier fly and Sacha Inchi, which can form a recycle agriculture. In addition, black fungus are also planted in the green house. Bee are raised to develop the forest economy. In the future, sustainability center hopes to be a International center for a sustainable agriculture.

Organic Agriculture Promotion Center (OAPC) is an organization under National Chung Hsing University, working towards promotion of organic agriculture in Taiwan.
Our Missions
1. Assisting the Ministry of Agriculture in drafting and implementing Organic Agriculture Promotion Program which shall be revised every four years
2. Supporting and assisting the Organic Agriculture Promotion Consulting Board of the Ministry of Agriculture
3. Playing the role of organic agriculture think tank
4. Promoting organic agriculture through education and training programs

The Organic Center of the National I-Lan University is in charge of maintaining an organic agriculture portal in Taiwan. This portal includes an organic information website, e-shops, e-market, GIS and databank of certified organic farmers and processors. The centre also supports local organic development.

We are private university. We have a Department of Post Modern Agriculture. There are about 15 hectares of farm. We do have about 13 hectares of farm been accredited as organic farm mostly planted to organic rice. Several green houses being constructed for fruit and vegetable cultivation. We are very interested in promoting organic farming. We hope we could receive more information about organic practices globally.
